Examinations at Hyde
Exams at Hyde consist of internal exams (set by your teachers) and external exams (set by outside authorities).

Important Documents
There are many regulations with which you, as a student, must familiarise yourself . These are governed by J.C.Q. and links can by found opposite to the essential documents which you must read.
If you have any questions or are unsure about anything relating to exam rules and regulations you must seek advice from Mr Marsden, the Exams Officer.
Certificates
Each year certificates are awarded at "Certificates Evening" in the Autumn term. We will write to you nearer the time with details, inviting you to this event.
Students not attending this event should collect certificates from the Examinations Officer in school after Certificates Evening by the student. Should the student be unable to collect them, they may nominate someone to collect them on their behalf if written consent has been provided to the Exams Officer.
Once awarded, certificates must be kept in a safe place as they are difficult and expensive to replace. Certificates will probably be required as proof by colleges and/or employers when applying for courses or employment.
